We've known for a while that the Philadelphia Eagles would have some tough decisions to make at the end of the season.
He responded with the best campaign of his career, mostly by staying healthy.He has produced some impressive boots, making the most of the opportunities available to him.
The stat line is easy to like.In 15 starts, he amassed 60 receptions and 591 receiving yards.His 11 touchdowns are double as a franchise record for tight ends.He went from being seen as expendable to, possibly, one of the top priorities of the offseason.
One of his best NFL seasons carried over to the postseason.In the middle of the first half of Francisco's Eagles-San wild card game 49ers.TD scored and received.Everything was a thing of beauty.

Thanks to his success in the first half, he joined some important companies.He is now one of six NFL tight ends in the history of the game to record a touchdown and receive a TD in the same game.
Dallas Goedert is the sixth TE in NFL history to record a rushing TD and receiving TD in the same game.
