On the February 13 episode of Friday Night SmackDown, WWE wrapped up the final match - a match with Elimination Chamber implications.
WWE has finalized its final match for the Feb. 13 episode of Friday Night SmackDown — and it's a showdown with Elimination Chamber consequences.
Cody RhodesAccording to Cory Hays, a men's Elimination Chamber Qualifier featuring Jacob Fatu and Sami Zayn is scheduled to take place on the show.
This means SmackDown will be eliminated in the triple threat bout at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas, putting enormous pressure on three of WWE's top stars to finish in the final spot.
The match has the weight of a true story.Cody Rhodes and Jacob Fatu have been feuding since Fatu cost Rhodes the Undisputed WWE Championship last month.Sami Zayn, on the other hand, is still determined to return to world title contention. With only one spot on the line for the Men's Elimination Chamber match, the stakes couldn't be higher.
While the rest of the card is stacked — including Jade Cargill defending the WWE Women's Championship against Jordynne Grace and a Women's Elimination Chamber Qualifier featuring Alexa Bliss, Giulia and Zelina Vega — the night will be headlined by Rhodes vs. Fatu vs.Zayn.
As the tension between Rhodes and Fatou and Zayn could always use chaos, the final moments of SmackDown could dramatically alter the path to the Elimination Chamber.
