Google's third -generation foldable phone promises to be more durable than anyone else as the first to include full water and dust resistance while packing enough advanced AI and a customized set of cameras.
The pixel 10 Pro fold builds on last year's 9 Pro by making a hinge, so it can work for now, and cram work in a normal phone.
But like all folding phones, the Pixel is very expensive and at £1,749 (£1,899 / $1,799 / A$2,699), it sits well above the £1,199 Pixel 10 Pro XL and rubs shoulders with the equally expensive Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7.
Good durability is good because not much has really changed since the Pixel 9 Pro.
However, the pixel is heavy and looks chunky compared to Samsung's very thin and light Z 7 fold.It's 258g, which you can feel and pocket, and is significantly thicker than regular phones and the latest competitors.
The time has a google g5 knottin the rest of the pixel 10 with 16GB of wam and at least 256GB of storage.It looks like the pixel 10 pro 10, feels quick to use and is able to handle many tasks without breaking a sweat.Those looking for the highest levels of ultimate gaming are better served by its rivals with the top-tier Qualcomm Snapdragon chip.
Like all foldables, the Fold's battery life varies greatly depending on the screen you use the most.On light days with about five hours of active screen use, spread evenly between indoor and outdoor viewing, mostly on Wi-Fi, the Pixel managed about 38 to 40 hours between charges.On heavier days on 5G with more indoor screen use, it was around 28 hours.It lasted, the day ended with 25% left in the tank.That's not terrible, but it lags behind the best competitors or large-screen slab phones, including the Pixel 10 Pro XL.

The Fold is similar to the Android 16 software of the rest of the pixel 10 promn, which highlights the boldness and color scheme of the majority of the phone.
Some of the features include making your app more interactive with your actions, making it more useful, and many of the major new features include an updated translation system.
A cool feature is Magic Q, a small assistant that runs in the background on your device, processes your data from various Google apps, and displays timely information when you need it.It understands context, so when a friend texts to ask when your flight lands, it'll suggest your flight details from your calendar so you can paste them directly into your conversation, or when you call a business, it'll show your order details from your phone's Gmail in the app.This is a great feature.
There are also some changes made to make the most of the large display inside. The taskbar at the bottom of the screen makes it easy to put apps into split-screen mode. Similar to the Honor Magic V5 and OnePlus Open, you can also resize apps according to the screen bezel, giving you a bit more flexibility when running two apps side by side.
The Fold also comes with a £19-a-month annual subscription to Google AI Pro, which gives access to more powerful Gemini AI models and 2TB of cloud storage for photos, files and emails.The phone will receive updates until October 2032.

The main camera takes good photos in a range of conditions, although it can suffer from a bit of blur and grain in lower light levels.Google's Night Mode is still the best in the business when it gets really dark.The ultra-wide camera is solid, while the telephoto camera with 5x optical zoom can significantly reduce the distance to objects.The latter can be a little softer on detail in less than ideal light.Like the regular Pixel 10, the camera takes photos and good video that most will be happy with, but it can't match the Pixel 10 Pro lineup, which you'd expect for this price.
The fold has a few tricks itself, including different shooting methods that use both screens or place it in a corner when partially folded, along with the ability to take selfies with the main camera.The useful Made You Look feature shows animation on the external screen that responds when your child looks their way and smiles, keeping attention long enough to draw, although unfortunately it uses one of the selfie cameras and not the primary camera, so it's more fun than for a great picture.

By comparison, the Pixel 10 is priced at £799, the Pixel 10 Pro is priced at £999, the Pixel 10 Pro XL is priced at £1,199, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 is priced at £1,799 and the Honor Magic V5 is priced at £1,699.99.
The Pixel 10 Pro fold is a small update to last year's 9 Pro fold, but one that will have a bigger impact on the line.As the first dangerous dust, it sets a new durility, gradually bringing the equipment to par with the slab structure.
However, the inner screen has to be softer than normal normal glass to be able to bend, so you have to be careful with it.Nails can leave a permanent mark if you push hard enough.
The extra Qi2 magnetic accessory and charging support is just as good on the Fold as on the other Pixels.The phone is fast, has decent battery life, runs great software and has excellent advanced AI.The cameras are also good for foldables, though they can't match the best conventional phones.
The Pixel strikes a good balance as a regular closed phone and a great tablet when opened, but it's fat and heavy compared to the thinner and lighter Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7.
Advantages: a phone and a tablet in one, it resists with an insert and a charger, the screen
Cons: More expensive than a regular device, fragile and more expensive to repair, thicker and heavier, cameras can't match the regular Pixel 10 Pro, better battery life, lower power consumption features than competitors.
