How does it feel to watch the face of the franchise dominate the postseason? We asked those around the Blue Jays superstar.
LOS ANGELES - It was a swing that could have changed the course of the World Series.

That was quite critical for the Blue Jays lineup, which lost its heartbeat, and in 18 innings, Toronto's squad went scoreless for the first time.
It was the latest in an October filled with big moments for his franchise, and the fact that it came against the Dodgers' two-way phenom adds to a developing story: Ohtani isn't the only superstar in this World Series.
"It's a good window," manager Yahya Shanin said after the winner that closed the series in two games.
Guerrero has been running the China Jays all month, hitting .419 with seven home openers this season. But don’t just label him as a free oval musician. While that description may fit his famous father, Guerrero, is more and more, and his teammates noted throughout the competition today.
'Go find someone to watch him.'
Max Scherzer is a Hall of Famer who has been to the World Series for four different franchises and is also a 41-year-old righty who saw Guerrero on the train.
"He's locked and loaded," Scherzer said."He's a big force. To me, his greatness is beyond his offense. It's his defense and baserunning as well. He's a great all-around player."
But nothing else Buerrero has done this season compares to showing that he has been put in a bat in his hands.Even his hitting coach, David Poppins, often sees himself watching his star like a fan.
"He really enjoyed the show, eating some popcorn and watching him do his thing," Popkins said with a laugh."He goes through every edit before we get to Him. I learn from Him every day."
“When these click, it's like a donkey kong.
This October is a common theme that continues this year.
Near Jeff Hoffman said "on the edge of his chair" every night waiting for Guerrero to do something special.Sometimes it comes with a big home run in the field and sometimes it will shoot the ball the same way he did in Game 4. Guerrero is a shooter in every field.
"It's always been a quality at-bat," third baseman Ernie Clement said."It didn't have to be a home run. He battled out there and saw packages and made it very, very difficult for opposing pitchers.
"This postseason as a whole is just the most amazing football I've ever seen from him. And that's saying something because he hit .400 in the second half of last year. This is the best version of him."
"Help my team win some games"
On the heels of signing a $500 million contract with the Blue Jays that will keep him with the Blue Jays through the 2039 season, many of Guerrero's teammates are putting added pressure on their superstar's shoulders to deliver on her promises this month — but the wait continues.
He hit .529 in the division series, .385 in the ALCS and is hitting .368 so far in the World Series. Guerrero was asked what impressed him most about his play after Game 4 at his home against Otani.
"I'm helping my team play," he told the team.
The result of his performance was taken through the dressing room after the last month of the hero.
"It never settles," Popkins said."It really depends on who he is as a hitter and what his core beliefs are based on how he was raised. That's what makes him special."
"Maybe I'll stick around"
Another regular on The Guerrero Show, Jess Eric Lauer, was asked how he got together on Guerrero. He paused for a moment before answering, shaking his head as he thought about it.
"I would probably challenge around him," Luer said with a laugh.
"When it starts, we hang a slider or a curveball. Hang something or go that far."
"The nice thing about Weld is that he's not a spot-hitter," Hoffman added.
Even Guerrero might have taken a moment to spend at home against the best player in the game.Waxay timid habeen ka dib Ohtani oo uu xaday dhamaan xaga hanashada rikoorka sagaal jeer ciyaarta 3. Talaadadii, waxay ahayd Guerroero oo xaday showga, iyada oo siinta jayseys ay fursad u tahay inay wax ku dhibaan daafaca.
“It was very important for me to hit the home run and from then on we dealt with it,” Guerrero said.“And I know he (Ohtani) and I are talking series, but when we're between those two lines, we're competing.
"Homer felt good that I could shoot in front of him."
