How difficult is the rest of the NFC Playoff Contoking schedule?

Resulting strength of schedule for each NFL playoff contender in the NFC

The 2025 NFL regular season is just a few weeks away, which means we're close to finding out if there will be a playoff this year.As the end of the year approaches, we'll get a breakdown of each playoff schedule based on the combined percentages of their opponents.

No team has been mathematically eliminated in second-chance games to this point, but for our purposes, we'll look at the top 10 teams in each conference.

Here, each NFC playoff contender is ranked based on the amount of schedule remaining, ranked from most difficult to least difficult.

T-1Packers (.592, strongest)

- Current ranking: 6-3-1, No. 6 seed

- Remaining opponents: Vikings, Lions, Bears, Broncos, Bears, Ravens, Vikings

The Packers spent most of the 2025 season doing well against weak competition.

Five of Green Bay's seven remaining games remain against regional foes.Since the Vikings aren't as great as they were last year, they still challenge any opponent. But the Packers' most important games are against the Bears and Lions.Defeating the lions would give the lions a draw and a huge advantage.

T-1.Bears (.592, average)

- Current Rank: 7-3, can't seed. 3

- Remaining opponents: Steelers, V Eagles, V Packers, Browns, Packers, V 49ers, Lions

After coming back and winning against the Vikings and the Lions losing to the Eagles, the Bears suddenly moved into first place in the NFC North. The Bears hold the lead with a score of 7-3, but the Packers and Lions remain close in the standings and the division battle.

Starting with the Steelers, this stretch will provide a true test of how real this Bears team is.So far, Chicago has feasted on weaker opponents and beaten yet another team with a winning record.Going forward, six of their seven opponents have winning records, and even the only team with one loss, the Browns, have a tough defense.

The Bears have made great strides this year, but will it be enough to overcome the odds?

3. Panthers (.590, 3rd Angel Paling)

- Current position: 6-5, May 9

- remaining competitors: in the 49th, Russ, Buz, Buccaneers, Seakcaneers, in Buccaneers

At 6-5, the Panthers find themselves in the playoff race as the current No. 9 seed. With the best schedule in March, they make mistakes in the regular season.

Carolina is also headed to the playoffs if they can win the division. The next two games against the Buccaneers give them a chance to win a tiebreaker, but games against the 49ers, Rams and Seahawks could make it too difficult to keep up with them.At least the Panthers have already won more games than last year and have improved as a team.

4. Lions (.535, 9th best)

- Current record: 6 wins, 4 losses, no.8 screened

- one remaining opponent: Giants, Packers, Cowboys, Rams, Steelers, Vikings, Bears

It's hard to believe, but with Sunday's loss to the Cards, the Lions have been temporarily eliminated from the playoffs and are now the eighth seed.Detroit is still 6-4 and in the thick of the NFC North race, but wins in the rest of its divisional games will be crucial to trying to rally.

Currently, the north NFC seems to be once again the most competitive section down the passage. This leaves very little space for mistakes to Detroit going forward.

5. Seahawks (.514, 10th worst)

- Current position: 7-3, no.5 seeds

- Ishchilar Asteniya: Titans, Vikings, Vikings, Falcons, Kolts, Rams, pantherlarda, 49ernda

The Lakers' loss to the Rams on Sunday keeps them from getting the edge in the NFC West.Seattle still has a chance to win that - especially if they can beat the Rams at home - but then you have a chance to find a place around them.Outside of their game against the Rams, the last game against the 49rs could be an important matchup if they don't already have a seed by this point.

6. 49ers (.508, 11th best)

- Current position: 7-4, 7 seeds

- remaining opponents: panthers, bbwns, byen, titans, titans, tints, bears, bears, balakas, islands

The 49ers' injuries may have kept them out of the NFC West, but they are in a good position to secure a wild card spot.San Francisco has three very winnable games in front of them, and if they can capitalize on that advantage they will reach 10 wins and be in a good position to secure a wild card spot.

The most important game going forward has to be the game against the Bears.Even though the beast was first in the NFC North at the time, the division continued to hold its own, and beating Chicago could give the 49ers something important.Otherwise, overtime could give the 49ers another chance to find a partner.

T-7.Cowboys, (.479, 21st)

- Current classification: 4-5-1 No. 10 seeds

- Remaining opponents: Eagles, Chiefs, Lions, Vikings, Chargers, Commanders, Giants

The Cowboys have some strange and pointless stuff that doesn't signify mistakes in trying to make the postseason.Their best thing in reaching the playoffs is relying on their useless behavior away from opponents.

The Cowboys' only advantage is that four of their five toughest games are at home.If Dallas can somehow win at least four of those games, they might be able to sneak into a wild-card spot before facing the Commanders and Giants in the final two weeks. They will need help and luck, but they still have a chance.

T-7. Rams (.479, 21st toughest)

- Current position: 8-2, No. 2 holder

- Remaining opponents: Buccaneers, Panthers, Cardinals, Lions, Seahawks, Falcons, Cardinals

The Reds got two of their most important wins of the season, beating the 49ers and Seahawks tomorrow, giving them the lead in the NFC undefeated West NFC undefeated West. They need to keep up the momentum if they hope to keep the Eagles for a shot at the No. 1 seed.

9. Burkut (.459, 26th sinks)

- Current record: 8 wins, 2 losses, No.1 Seed

- LikęProišininkai: "cowboys", "Bears", "chargers", "counterers", "Bills", "Bills"

With the second-easiest schedule remaining, the Eagles are on track to become the first NFC East champions in more than two decades. With wins over the Rams, Lions, Packers and Buccaneers already this year, the Eagles also have a good chance to grab the No. 1 seed and get a first-round bye.The Cowboys, Bears, Chargers and Bills could all challenge Philadelphia, but if they don't, they should enter January as one of the top two seeds in the NFC.

10. Buccaneers (.438, 29th worst)

-Current score: 6-4, No. 4 seed

- Remaining opponents: Rams, Cardinals, Saints, Falcons, Panthers, Dolphins, Panthers

The Buccaneers dropped from 6-2 to 6-4 after losing their last two games, but the good news is that their remaining schedule is the easiest in the NFC playoffs. After this week's game against the Rams, the Buccaneers' schedule has cooled down significantly heading into the playoffs.

Tampa Bay's biggest games will be their two against the Panthers.Carolina has a tougher schedule than the Buccaneers, but the Panthers are half a game behind the Buccaneers in the division race.
