Koivonen converted Pittsburgh's first chance at 6:12 with a first-time shot from the left circle, killing Tampa Bay.

Malkin stole a pass from Hagel in front of Pittsburgh's blue line and converted the game-tying game at 7:53 of the second quarter.Kindel tipped Erik Karlsson's shot into a second power play goal at 9:49 and the score was 3-0.

Kucherov led Bampa Bay with 1:14 left in the second period, and Hagel cut the deficit to one with 1:17 left in the third period.
