No. Miami's 12 is on the outside facing the football field, it will be decided at the presentation of the CFP on Sunday (at 12:00 p.m., espn).

The No. 12 Miami Hurricanes are looking for a spot in the College Football Playoff that will be finalized during the CFP Selection Show on Sunday (12 p.m., ESPN).

However, Fox sports analyst Joel Joel Klatt (10-2) this weekend (10-2) this weekend (Saturday and Sunday) from 27-24

"The boss of all teams in sports is the boss," Klatt said.

"I also think it's a little bit, not that this is bad, but I think it's a little bit of protection for the ACC because it's a situation where if Duke wins the ACC, the ACC is right out of the playoffs and their only hope is an at-large berth to Miami. So I don't think the committee gives them a 10 guarantee for them. The reason they've beaten a sudden team to Miami, and everybody can be close to a 5-7 team. then the committee will be like, all of a sudden they're next to each other.Dame will miss it.

Although Miami is in 12th place with 12 teams in the field, the two teams behind them will earn a spot based on the automatic seeding to win the conference, meaning Miami must move up two spots to make its first playoff appearance.

Three notable games will be played this weekend for Miami's situation at No.11 BYU (11-1) vs. No. 4 Texas Tech (11-1) Saturday in the Big 12 Championship (12 p.m., ABC), No. 9 Alabama (10-2) vs. No.3 Georgia (Champion Saturday at 10-10 p.m., ABC) and No. 17 Virginia (10-2) against Duke (7-5) Saturday (8 p.m., ABC) in the ACC Championship.
