Joseph Duggar looks like he has a supportive wife ... because he's been emailing Kendra Duggar since she was arrested on child abuse charges ... and they talked religion and music.

New legal documents received.

Joseph was the first person to contact Kendra on March 23rd from an Arkansas prison, saying... "I hope you're doing well. Love you, honey! <3 <3 <3 Love you to the moon and back."

Within hours, Kendra replied ... to her imprisoned husband: "I got your message! I love you! Hang in there."

Joseph responded the next day.Obviously after talking to her on the phone.By writing...“It was great talking to you today!I always love hearing your voice!Hope you have a day filled with great grades!And in Psalm 54, I pray for each of you and replace personal pronouns with your name.Every aspect brings me great comfort. 8, 18, 54, 86, 91 119 and 139. Kendra replied, "Nice talking to you! Love you!!"

Joseph continued the conversation with a "<3" and then Kendra sent him the lyrics to a Megan Woods song, "The Truth," which she says is Joseph's favorite song.

The lyrics are interesting... "No to lies / Me to you".

Joseph and Kendra were arrested days after being arrested on child sexual abuse charges and both were charged with 4 counts each of second-degree endangering a minor and second-degree false imprisonment.
