Amy Schumer Details Weight Loss Cushishing Syndrome

Amy Schumer shared information about losing 50 pounds amid her recent cancer diagnosis on social media.

Amy Schumer is putting it out there.

In a recent post, the star of the train talked about the confusion surrounding her marriage to Chris Remicher, and the understanding of the difficult journey.

"I didn't lose 30 pounds, I lost 50," I wrote."It doesn't look cool. I did it to survive.

In 2024, the 44-year-old said she was diagnosed with Cushing's syndrome, a hormonal condition that causes high levels of cortisol that can lead to death if left untreated, according to the National Library of Medicine, and gave insight into how she continued her weight loss in her latest post.

"I'm sorry for how you feel about the weight loss," Amy continued."I've had plastic surgery for years and have been using Mounjaro."

It's not the first time that Amy - mum to son Jean, 6, with Chris - has openly addressed her dramatic weight loss, and last month there was a story about her deleting pictures of herself before the transformation.

"I'm deleting my old photos because they were before they arrived," Amy wrote on Novagram Instagram Nove.12. "That's a story you made up."

However, Amy insisted that during her weight loss journey, she feels healthier than ever.

"I've been working to be pain-free and I'm finally there," he added."My endometriosis has improved. My back is healing. I no longer have Cushing's syndrome, so my face is back to normal. I am grateful to be strong and healthy, especially for my son."

In fact, Amy has been so outspoken about her weight loss journey that she's previously criticized the more genteel on the Hollywood circuit.
