MLS is back! As we begin 2026, there has never been a more exciting time for our League.The return of the World Cup to our region is a momentous event that brings unprecedented power and energy to MLS and the sport of soccer.

As we begin the 2026 season, there has never been a more exciting time for our league.The return of the FIFA World Cup to our region is an important moment that is bringing unprecedented energy and vitality to the game of soccer throughout MLS and the US and Canada.

Tomorrow is the biggest opening weekend in league history, with all 30 clubs in action.More than 70,000 fans will be at the LA Coliseum for Inter Miami CF vs. Los Angeles FC (9:30 p.m. ET | Apple TV).This match will feature our new Walmart Saturday Showdown, followed by Sunday Night Soccer presented at the Continental Tier when the LA Galaxy host New York City FC (7 p.m. ET | Apple TV).

Starting this season, all MLS matches will be available on Apple TV.The move to Apple TV allows us to reach a larger audience and demonstrates our commitment to making MLS easier to find, easier to watch and more accessible than ever before, while providing fans with the added value of Apple TV's great features.

As North America welcomes the world, we will suspend league play at the end of May to celebrate the World Cup so fans, players and communities can fully experience this historic event.All 13 host cities are home to MLS clubs.A record number of MLS players will represent their countries, and MLS stadiums and training facilities will play host to some of the best national teams in the world.The momentum of our League will be incredible.

This season also shows a great event and another marquee season.On April 4, Inter Miami CF will open Miami Freedom Park, MLS' newest soccer stadium.Following the World Cup, the MLS All-Star game presented by Chime will take place in Charlotte on July 29, while we repeat our competition in League of Legends' LIGA MX in August.

Decision Day on November 7th will set the stage for the postseason, and later that month will come a month of non-stop Audi 2026 MLS Cup Playoff action, culminating in the MLS Cup presented by Audi on December 18th.
