Our thoughts and words play a tremendous part in what happens in our lives.We have the power to create and change the direction in which our thoughts and words affect us at any time.
If I were looking for a job with the idea that I couldn’t find one, it will be difficult for me to be successful. If I change my mindset to one more positive, such as: “Finding a job is a challenge and I’m sure the opportunity will show itself at the optimum time,” my result would differ.
The more positively I think, the more quickly my dreams will come true. Thinking and speaking negatively will perpetuate fear, anxiety and, ultimately, depression.
Some negative phrases:
· I hate;
· I can’t; and
· I don’t like.
Respective positive phrases:
· I don’t like (softer than “hate”);
· I can and will try; and
· I am feeling (be specific).
There are dozens of websites that can be found using the keywords: positive affirmations. These websites provide great insights into phrases we can say. Here are some suggestions:
· I am healthy, healed and whole.
· I deserve love and happiness.
· I attract only loving and uplifting people into my life.
· I love and accept myself the way I am and I love and accept others in the same way.
· My work is enjoyable and fulfilling, and I am appreciated.
Even if you are unhappy with your current situation, changing your mindset will soon get you where you want to be. As stated on successconsciousness.com,“You can affect your subconscious mind and thereby transform your habits, behavior, mental attitude and reactions, and even reshape your external life.”
