Are you ready to take the plunge? Baltimore Pride will once again be hosting a wedding en masse this year. If you’re interested in participating, please e-mail Pride coordinator Wendy Ingram at email@example.com, and check out the following tips before saying I do in front of 5,000 of your closest LGBT community friends.
WHAT TO DO BEFORE SAYING WE DO…
Get Your License!
Couples do not need to be Maryland residents to marry, but they must obtain a marriage license from the Baltimore City Circuit Court Clerk’sf office before June 13 (to accommodate the 48-hour waiting period).
For location and hours of operation, please call 410.333.3790 or visit www.baltocts.state.md.us.
The marriage license fee in Baltimore City is $85, cash only.
Anyone obtaining a license between 18 and 21 must provide on identification (either a drivers license or birth certificate). Only one applicant needs to be present. Organizers recommend bringing valid identification even if over the age of 21.
For people previously married, the city of Baltimore requires that you show your divorce decree, or have information regarding date, county and state of death of your previous spouse.
Plan All the Fun Wedding Stuff!
Celebrate your happy day in style. Make sure to check out the Baltimore LGBT Visitors Guide for information on beauty and grooming, hotels, caterers and photographers. Find a link to the Guide on BaltimoreGayLife.com or visit www.bit.ly/10W8AxH.
The ceremony will begin at 2:00pm on the Main Stage in front of Mt. Royal Station (1400 Mt. Royal). Participants must show up at 1:00pm.
